Flash 55-TGIF

Snow fell unannounced. Cars moving slowly down the highway, I sipped my coffee as the back wheels started to wiggle, a dance uninvited. My coffee flew through the air and my car spun into a ditch, a tractor trailer waving good morning as it rushed by. Do I really need to be at this meeting?

    Answer: NO! Go home and curl up with a blanket and hot cocoa. That truck driver would have gotten such a slew of bad words from me, LOL. Nice 55.

    nicely done c.m. we are expecting 5-10 inches of snow here, so hopefully i wont feel your pain or dance and unexpected dance. great 55.

    So scary. I spun out on ice once at 15mph. Wish you could have hunkered down rather than going out.

    wow--thanks for checking in on me folks--the storm pretty much caught everyone by surprise and I was leaving early for an 8 o'clock meeting--coffee in hand, I merged onto the highway with just a little too much gas and hit some black ice--instant Flash 55 post!

    susan--it was the truck driver that made me step on the gas;-) ah well, live and learn. Thanks-c

    brian--this was literally a dusting but it was coming down fast and there must of been some freezing rain before it all started. gives new meaning to the term -coffee to go--answer-all over me! c

    g-man--nope front wheel drive and new--the back end just caught the ice and there I was spinning..all's well --hope you had a great weekend-c

    jill--from now on it is "conference me in baby"---I can drink my coffee and where my comfy clothes while I'm working.
