Flash 55-Photograph

Snowflakes fall quickly making the limbs of evergreens bow. Wind moves and stops, branches swaying. A burst of snow and sound, blackbirds take flight, caw, caw, leaving their hiding place to continue their daily migration. Carried by the wind, wings flapping against a cold sky, they fly; a black and white photo in broad daylight.

Can you say it in 55 words?--give it try and tell the g-man!

  1. I like this rendition of winter, especially the last line, 'a black and white photo in board daylight.'

  2. Really loved this piece. Today I saw a big hawk perched at the top of a tall tree. It looked like a black and white photo against the clouds. At first, I thought he had a broken wing as it was out. But then, as I watched, I figure out that he had gotten wet and was drying it out. Very cool.
