Theme Thursday-Green

“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things in nature have a message you understand, Rejoice, for your soul is alive.”

Eleanora Duse

Ahhh, the smell of grass on the first warm day of spring--let it be soon!

It is Theme Thursday and today is an ode to green.

  3. Leonardo da Vinci declared that green represented water.

I am unsure as to whether he was joking or not.

The trees are just about ready to pop here in DC. It's exciting!

  11. Oh, yes and this one too! Beautifully written with photos to match! I was disappointed when I went out of my way yesterday to snap a picture of the perfect sign -- "Agent Orange Killed my Best Friend" to go with a recent post. It had long been in a yard next to where we used to live, but the sign was gone. I had to wonder.....had the goons from Monsanto paid a visit to the homeowner??

But about spring....yes it is definitely in the air!
