is it below
or above
hard to tell
when the wall seems
too tall
to scale
the waves crashing
noise
thinking
nowhere to turn
listen
a chime sings
with the wind
feel
the rock
climb
aspens whispering
sunrise awakens
swim to shore
sand and salt
cleanses
heart beats
new beginnings
await
love the pics and found your words to be soothing...like a smooth surface. smiles.
ReplyDeleteI love the notion of aspens whispering.
ReplyDeleteWell done. I'm reminded now of the opening scene in the English Patient where the plane flies over the desert. Is it skin, is it parchment?
ReplyDeleteAspens whispering? How lovely...
ReplyDeleteCool stuff... :)
ReplyDeleteErosion can lead to falling apart... but it can uncover things as well.
ReplyDeleteLove the economy in the piece. Less is more certainly applies here.
Very beautiful and nicely done!
ReplyDeletelike it, all looks like great fun!
ReplyDeleteSand and salt cleanses but sting sometimes too, no?
ReplyDeleteGlorious words and images. The aspens just send me. Ours whisper too, I think we call them poplars in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words. Beautiful pictures.

ReplyDeleteI really like "sunrise awakens" also "sand and salt cleanses". I never looked at sunrise in quite that way, and was just reading on a website about how gargling with salt water really does help clean out the infection in one's throat. I really enjoyed this TT. Sorry I am so slow getting here, but I've been sick and slowly getting over it.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Mrsupole-thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you feel better soon. Warm salt water, restand lots of tea with honey should do the trick!! best-c
ReplyDeleteLovely take on "surface"
