Magpie Tales-Born
Life is easy
Living work
The weight
Your future
Rests in my hands
C.M Jackson 2011
This is a Magpie Tale... go here for more....to all the Mom's out there, kudos to you! Happy Mother's Day!
Living work
The weight
Your future
Rests in my hands
Against my breast
I hear Elsa roar
The four winds blowing
I can only teach and hope
Hold tight
Knowing the path is long
Letting go
My heart beating
The roar in my ears
I kiss the earth
As I watch you
Walking
Away

Flash 55-Moments Matter
Time stands still
You choose to
Breathe the air
As it carries
The scents of flowers
Past cheeks
Past cheeks
Feel the grass
Between your toes
The sun on your face
Sharing time
With the ones you love
Listening to their laughter
Watching them smile
Stretching out
Like a new day
Dawning
Moments matter

Magpie Tales-A Mother's Love
"I just want to make her legacy live on and make it live through me." Johannie Rochette
tonight is yours
the world awaitsmy work done
I am here
watching
you
glide
jump
and fly
know cheri
the kiss
sent skyward
sparkles
on my cheek
like a star
my pride
and joy
lifting you
up
I feel
the weight slip
from your shoulders
to your hands
a bronze medal
resting there
as you smile
a ribbon
connecting
my heart
to yours
well done
This is week 3 of a wonderful blog designed to get writers writing and keep the muse alive!

Believe!
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. There would be no child-like faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies!
Francis P. Church--From the New York Sun, September 21, 1897.
