Life ain't about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.
I took this Theme Thursday prompt "Sign" as a sign that I need to get back to Santa Fe soon, not just for the amazing frozen margueritas and ribs at the Cowgirl Cafe but also for a reunion with good friends, the air, the mountains and the feel of red dust on my skin. Time to pull out the hiking boots--

I've always wanted to drive from here to New Mexico. Haven't made it past Phoenix yet though. My sister-in-law grew up in Albuquerque, they go back and visit once or twice a year. Hopefully some time I'll get to tag along!
megan--you must get there--really cool place with amazing people--ABQ and Santa Fe are like Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket or Rome and Venice--most people love one or the other...I happen to like both for different reasons..I am hearing a road trip in your future-summertime is perfect and not as hot as Arizona-c
