Crashing into brick walls
Develops character
Loving and losing
Opens the heart for true love
Missed opportunities
Awaken the mind to possibilities
Failures
Drive the potential for future success
Doors closing
Signal a new beginning
Fear, sadness and doubt
Are just moments in a life
Filled with blessings
Count them

Awfully well written.
Love the positive take on each disappointment. Inspiring!
Lovely. I like to think of failures as situations necessary for learning.
Words of wisdom, well written!
I really LOVE this! Really.
Words of the wise, experience bathed in beauty.
Nicely done.
Very nice piece of writing.
There's nearly always a silver lining, if only we can open ourselves up to seeing it.
Missed opportunities
Awaken the mind to possibilities...
I've been having to remind myself of that a lot lately.
nice c.m....this is one to read daily or have posted on a mirror...we all want prefect days ...what would we be without those brick walls and lost loves I can not imagine...bkm

Lovely poem - Filled with blessings, count them. We must all remember to do this.
YES! Being face forward and positive is a lot easier than the opposite.
CMJ, your words brought on this:
I am sitting at my computer. There is nothing I would rather be doing.
Then... I am reading in bed. This is sooo nice.
Or I am driving the car listening to the radio. Glad I left early, no rush, enjoying the trip and using the skills.
Where am I going? I do know, but that is for later. Right now I am here feeling how good this is.
this is stunning. i'm so glad i visited today to read this.
wow!

a pot of gold in those words!
Logical, beautiful, and wise at the same time...
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderfful, excellent AND great!
I can so relate to the doors opening truth, as per my 7th letter unclaimed. I felt incomplete and worried about my perfect 7 being broken until those trumpets blared that the 7 friend had yet to be revealed in the fulness of light and time!
Is life, and this post of yours great, or what?!?!
amazing view...
love your side of the story, sadness, fears, closing doors...
wow.
keep shining.
