Flash 55-Moments Matter

Time stands still
The moment
You choose to
Breathe the air
As it carries
The scents of flowers
Past cheeks
Feel the grass
Between your toes
The sun on your face
Sharing time
With the ones you love
Listening to their laughter
Watching them smile
Happiness
Stretching out
Like a new day
Dawning
Moments matter

C.M. Jackson 2010

55 words of sheer bliss.. Stop and enjoy the moment! You are the second blogger to give me this message back-to back, today! A little more than co-incidence this!

Beautiful words. Moments are all we have and they are to precious to waste. I love the butterfly picture. It's just amazing.

moments might be all that matters, as long as we use them to smell the flowers, listen to our hearts, interact with what shows up in our here-now worlds - your poem illustrates this well. awesome butterfly pic!

Beautiful thoughts and words, your 'muse' butterfly photo is stunning, as is the lovely lady enjoying the day in the sun.

Oh, I too wondered it if was you, standing still. It's cool to have a visual of her doing that in the context of your flash 55. Nicely done.
