Magpie Tales-Lessons learned

Crashing into brick walls
Develops character
Loving and losing
Opens the heart for true love
Missed opportunities
Awaken the mind to possibilities
Failures
Drive the potential for future success
Doors closing
Signal a new beginning
Fear, sadness and doubt
Are just moments in a life
Filled with blessings
Count them

C.M. Jackson 2010

Very nice piece of writing.

There's nearly always a silver lining, if only we can open ourselves up to seeing it.

I've been having to remind myself of that a lot lately.

CMJ, your words brought on this:
I am sitting at my computer. There is nothing I would rather be doing.
Then... I am reading in bed. This is sooo nice.
Or I am driving the car listening to the radio. Glad I left early, no rush, enjoying the trip and using the skills.
Where am I going? I do know, but that is for later. Right now I am here feeling how good this is.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderfful, excellent AND great!

I can so relate to the doors opening truth, as per my 7th letter unclaimed. I felt incomplete and worried about my perfect 7 being broken until those trumpets blared that the 7 friend had yet to be revealed in the fulness of light and time!

Is life, and this post of yours great, or what?!?!
