Let it Rain

View from Santa Fe Ski during a cool rain

Wildfires are burning near Los Alamos and Santa Fe. I am thinking of my friends there, hoping that the monsoon rains come early and that the winds stay calm.

We got a few sips of rain late yesterday, not enough. The skies were so beautiful, but the valley is filled with smoke, it is all pushed up against Taos Mountain, again a beautiful sunrise, but I view it with sorrow. I hope it will stop soon. Fire in the desert is will heal in our life time.

...rain dance.. cool.. though i don't think we needed that these days since we currently on our rainy season... so expect a lot of storms coming here.. i enjoyed the pics.. somewhat reminded be of the Ati-Atihan Festival.

Brightest blessings.

I would love to see one of these Indian celebrations and dances one day. It seems I am never aware of them until after they are over. Beautiful colors. Hoping for rain. We had a bunch the other day. Maybe it will head south west from here.

What a gorgeous view, but fear for those in fire territory. Rain dance indeed! I wish I could you send you some of ours, though the sun is shining this weekend,
