Magpie Tales-Home

look at me
lost and forgotten
I need you
to remember
when I lifted you
up
through the dirt
corn husks
gravel
flying
the sun
on your face
look at me
long gone
memories
as I wait
till you walk
past the barn
resting
on my bumper
cellphone
in your ear
earth beneath
my wheel
home
