Flash 55-Firefly my way

Like glitter strewn
On the warm
Emerald green grass
Fireflies begin their dance
Rising and falling
Twinkling like stars
As the sun sets
Peach and rose mingling
With an azure blue sky
Night approaches
Like a lover’s kiss
A warm breeze stirs
The soul
Awakens the mind
To memories and
Possibilities
Of a summer night

Can you tell a story in 55 words?  Go see the g-man.Yeah, it is that time again--Friday Flash 55! Enjoy!

What sweet words that stirs the lovers hearts -- sailing on warm breezes, set sail in a magical sunset,,,,,

Gives me a warm feeling inside --- wanting to sail away on that lovers ocean.

Hello,
I've been reading and enjoying 55 over on Brian Miller's blog. I see you are good with 55 words, too.
I am terrible at prose. I've just written my very first 55-word story, but don't want to post it on my travel blog.
I'll just have to find some other venue, someday!
cheers,

Oh! I see you just read Daniel Pink's A Whole New Mind...How did you like it? I'm getting ready to read his other book, Drive. I'm investigating motivation, especially student motivation to read...

I got to see fireflies once in Minnesota. They're magical. We don't have them out here in CA.

Your poem is lovely. All the possibilities of a summer's evening. You gave me an interval of memories.

Wow, how incredibly beautiful. Not just a story - I felt like I was being transported to another world.

Happy solstice, and shalom.

Hey, I imagined fireflies with that summer love's first kiss, nice 55 and metaphor. Thanks for visiting!

I read this the other day and didn't get to leave a comment. Beautiful images. Fireflies always bring fond memories.
