Well the Polka Dot Door was my fave for certain but tell me, where does this come from? Was this a show for kids in America in the 70's perhaps? I love it.
jill--itsy bitsy had to part of the polka dot run--I was thrilled that I could find a version that was a bit different! I didn't know about the eight languages though--I am going to have to search for the rest of the versions;-)best-c
mm-I believe it is a show that was done in the 70's in Canada--polka dot frenzy from what I can determine...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polka_Dot_Door
Thank you for the intros here. I didn't know The Rhonda Harris, they're awesome, wow.
And the Dalida version of itsy bitsy was terrific! I smiled at the older versions of the bikini, and also the older versions of women's bodies, that look more natural to me than the current Victoria Secret creations.
ruth--rhonda harris certainly gives new meaning to polka dots--loved their sound..As for itsy bitsy--I agree it was refreshing to see the retro bodies of women--no airbrushing there! For some reason that song has always made me smile;-) c
