Monday Morning Wakeup Call-A Perfect Day

Here's my wish for you --no alarm clock, a big stack of blueberry pancakes with or without bacon and lots of coffee or tea to start. Hopefully you are off today and will be outside playing with family and friends --at the beach, in the mountains, in a park throwing a frisbee or just sitting in your backyard--listen to the laughter, the waves, the wind and the leaves--plant your feet on the ground and take stock of the beauty that is summer. Enjoy!

Thank you, C.M. After a weekend outside, we're home now, and it's too hot to be outside, so I'm enjoying the AC. I just hung a load of laundry on the line, and I will go outside as little as possible. Thankfully the weekend at the lake was glorious though!

Hello C. M. Jackson.

I'm a fellow blogger and saw you like the movie, Miracle at St. Anna regarding the Buffalo Soldiers and I LOVE you theory of 'State of Mine', educating.

I wrote another Buffalo Soldier mini-series entitled, Rescue at Pine Ridge, the story of the rescue of the famed 7th Cavalry by the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers. It is currently in novel form now, Rescue at Pine Ridge, 5 stars Amazon and Barnes & Noble. You can also visit the novel website at: http://www.rescueatpineridge.com

Keep telling that history:

Read the novel, Rescue at Pine Ridge, "RaPR", where Buffalo Bill Cody meets a Buffalo Soldier. A great story of black military history...the first generation of Buffalo Soldiers.

How do you keep a people down? ‘Never' let them 'know' their history.

The 7th Cavalry got their butts in a sling again after the Little Big Horn Massacre, fourteen years later, the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. If it wasn't for the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, there would of been a second massacre of the 7th Cavalry.

Read the novel, “Rescue at Pine Ridge”, 5 stars Amazon, Barnes & Noble and the youtube trailer commercial...and visit the website http://www.rescueatpineridge.com

I hope you’ll enjoy the novel. I wrote it from my mini-series movie of the same title, “RaPR” to keep my story alive. Hollywood has had a lot of strikes and doesn't like telling our stories...its been “his-story” of history all along…until now. The movie so far has attached, Bill Duke directing, Hill Harper, Glynn Turman, James Whitmore Jr. and a host of other major actors in which we are in talks with…see imdb.com at; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0925633/

When you get a chance, also please visit our Alpha Wolf Production website at; http://www.alphawolfprods.com and see our other productions, like Stagecoach Mary, http://www.stagecoachmary.net, the first Black Woman to deliver mail for Wells Fargo in Montana, in the 1890's, “spread the word”.

I hope you enjoy.

Peace.

ruth-with you on the ac --I was having dinner with my family and NONE of them, including Mr. Jackson seemed to think it was hot-I had bounty paper towels ready to control the perspiration gathering on the brow--don't do well in humidity--give me the desert, dry heat and I can move..for the next few days I will be a puddle moving in and out of the ac---hope you had a lovely weekend! c

Buffalo Soldier 9--thanks for stopping by and giving me some new roads to travel. Mr Jackson is a Civil War buff and has educated me on the Buffalo Soldier's role in the Civil War. I look forward to learning more. As for education of our children, I think it should be first in the minds of all voters and leaders--thankfully we have teachers regardless of budget cuts and subject matter that continue to engage and light a fire in minds that encourages students to learn and explore. They are fighting the good fight.
